11th INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION „YOUNG VIRTUOSO"

DATE AND PLACE: 03-04.02.2020r., The W. Kossakowa State Music School of the 1st and 2nd degree in Sanok

The International Piano Competition „Young Virtuoso" is a part of the project International Piano Forum „Bieszczady without boundaries”. The aim of the Competition is to present artistic achievements and to motivate for the further development of pupils from music schools. The competition's value will be a unique Jury, that consists of teaching staff from schools, gathered by the 9th Master School of Piano Pedagogy under the direction of prof. Viera Nosina and prof. Andrzej Tatarski. Thanks to such an organization, auditions will be characterized by an atmosphere not only of professionalism but also of kindness. To the best performers, Jury will grant the proper titles of „Golden Virtuoso", „Silver Virtuoso" or „Brown Virtuoso”.

PROGRAM:

1. The competition auditions

The program covers two freely selected pieces lasting from 3 to 10 min, which are performed from memory.

Auditions will be held in the Concert Hall of the W. Kossakowa State Music School of the1st and 2nd degree  in Sanok 
on 03.02.2020 at 8:30 a.m.

The competition is divided into two age groups.

2. The Laureates Concert

On 04.02.2020 at 3:00 p.m. will be held The Laureates' Concert of the 11th International Piano Competition „Young Virtuoso” in the Concert Hall of the W. Kossakowa State Music School of the1st and 2nd degree in Sanok.

Awards and diplomas will be handed out by prof. Viera Nosina, prof. Andrzej Tatarski and by prof. Jarosław Drzewiecki.

Applications for participation shall be done by filling up the application form on the website and making the payment of 180 PLN/40 EUR within 7 days from the date of registration
