XVI INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION "YOUNG VIRTUOSO"

Date and Venue: February 1-2, 2025, W. Kossakowa Primary and Secondary School of Music in Sanok

Organizer: Podkarpacka Foundation for Cultural Development

The International Piano Competition "Young Virtuoso" is part of the International Piano Forum "Bieszczady Without Borders." The competition aims to showcase artistic achievements and inspire further development among students. The event's highlight is the exceptional jury, composed of educators participating in the XI Master School of Piano Pedagogy, chaired by Prof. Viera Nosina and Prof. Andrzej Tatarski. This organization ensures that the auditions are conducted with both professionalism and a friendly atmosphere. The best performers will be awarded the titles of "Golden Virtuoso," "Silver Virtuoso," or "Bronze Virtuoso."

PROGRAM:

  1. Competition Auditions
    Participants will perform two freely chosen pieces, lasting between 3 to 10 minutes, from memory.
    Auditions will take place in the Auditorium and Concert Hall of the W. Kossakowa Primary and Secondary School of Music in Sanok on February 1, 2025, starting at 3:15 PM.

    The competition will be divided into three age groups, an amateur group, and duets.

  2. Winners' Concert
    On February 2, 2025, at 4:00 PM, the Winners' Concert of the XV International Piano Competition "Young Virtuoso" will take place in the Concert Hall of the W. Kossakowa Primary and Secondary School of Music in Sanok.

    Prizes and diplomas will be presented to the laureates by Prof. Andrzej Tatarski, and Prof. Jarosław Drzewiecki.
